Best dates for weddings and engagements
How Muhurat Scoring Works
Each date is scored out of 100 by evaluating five Panchang elements. The Vara (weekday) accounts for ~15 points, Tithi for ~15, Nakshatra for ~20, Yoga for ~8, and Karana for ~5. Dates scoring 70+ are marked Excellent, 52–70 as Good. The remaining weight is determined by the specific purpose you select.

Always Avoid These Periods
⚠ Rahu Kaal
A 90-minute inauspicious window each day ruled by Rahu. Varies by weekday. Never start anything new during Rahu Kaal.
⚠ Amavasya
New Moon day — no moonlight, considered inauspicious for new beginnings, though good for ancestral rituals (Shradh).
⚠ Chaturdashi
The 14th lunar day is generally avoided for auspicious events as it precedes the new or full moon.
⚠ Adhik Maas
An intercalary lunar month (occurs roughly every 3 years). Considered inauspicious for weddings and griha pravesh; good for spiritual practice.
⚠ Panchak
A 5-day period when the Moon transits Aquarius–Pisces. Avoid construction, travel south, or beginning long-term projects.
